discusses the subject of “fire.” The

What is our defense against this
mad, crazy, frenzied world? Our defense
is PRAYING with FIRE! Pray with “fiery” prayer like Elijah, Moses, Daniel and
David-- prayers that make a difference! In the Parallel (Amplified) Bible, James
James continues, “Confess to one another your faults, offenses and pray also for one another that you may be healed and restored to a spiritual tone of mind and heart. The earnest, heartfelt, continuous, fervent prayer of a righteousness man makes tremendous power available that is dynamic in its working.”
“Elijah was a man with such a nature as ours. He had feelings, a constitution and affection like ours. He prayed earnestly for it not to rain, and no rain fell on the earth for 3 years and 6 months. Then he prayed again and the heavens supplied rain and the land produced its crops as usual.” In this end-time age of tribulation we need to begin PRAYING the fire and intensity of God’s Holy Spirit!
Leviticus 9:1 refers to when the fire came down upon the
Tabernacle in the wilderness. It happened on the 8th day as
Nadab and Abihu, sons of Aaron, were also consumed by the divine fire. What occasion such divine wrath, and what is the significance of the eighth day which gives this Biblical portion of study its name? Moreover, what is the symbolic secret of fire which makes it a statement both of divine fire and divine disapproval – God’s grace and God’s wrath? The eighth day is indeed fraught with significance.
Let us return to the initial days
of creation. The 6th day God created Adam and Eve and placed them in
the Garden of Eden. The first couple sinned by eating the fruit of the Tree of
the Knowledge of Good and Evil by declaring themselves (and not God), the
arbitrator of what is good and what is evil. So Adam and Eve were banished from
the Garden of Eden. According to teachings of the Midrash, Adam would recite
the Psalm for the Sabbath day, and was uplifted by the understanding that there
is truly a road that is paved with repentance back to
The Almighty prepared for Adam two flint-stones which Adam rubbed together and fire emerged. Hence on the eighth day, the beginning of the second weekly cycle became parallel to the first day of Creation. On the first day of Creation God created light (Gen. 1:3-4). On the eighth day (the first Sunday), Adam created light and warmth by using flint-stones. Deeper meaning lies in the seven days of Creation; God created a world for human beings. The day after the weekly Sabbath, on the eighth day Adam discovered through fire how he could repair, improve, and recreate that world as a true picture of the divine, giving light or by misusing the power of fire to create destruction.
In the 7 days of Creation, God made a world fit for humanity. On the eighth day of the Consecration of the Sanctuary, the Israelites had made a sacred place – an improved world in miniature – in which God could dwell together with humanity by his presence in the most HOLY place inside the Tabernacle. As God said in Exodus, “they shall make for me a Sanctuary so that I may dwell in their midst.” So fire is a response to God’s light. But fire is a two-edged sword that can strengthen and purify as in prayer, or it can subvert and petrify. It can bring warmth, or explosion and nuclear destruction. We need to therefore serve God in accordance with his laws that we dare not to remove our creative spirit from God’s direction and laws. To do so would be to repeat the sin of Adam—to go astray according to our own minds and thoughts, instead of following the pathway of God’s thoughts and laws.” It would be a wrong use of the energy of fire.
So God sent His divine light and
fire from heaven as a sign that He accepted the Sanctuary and the work of human
hands that built it according to His exact directions. If they had built
it contrary to His divine directions, then He would never have accepted it.
Nadab and Abihu came along with STRANGE fire that they had not been commanded
to bring. They improvised their own method of worshipping God, and brought
unacceptable and unqualified sacrifices as Cain did. So they died on the spot
for perverting the commands that God gave
Today there are a lot of ministers, from the various end-time Churches of God ,as well as other churches, playing the role of modern-day Nadab and Abihu by bringing strange fire before the altar of God – by changing his appointed times—the calendar and the holy days of God and even the weekly Sabbath Day! They proclaim to be worshipping God while perverting his worship and commandments. That is like the sin of Nadab and Abihu with their estranged form of disobedience to God’s plain and simple Torah by adding to and taking away from the word of God -- as many modern ministers of God do.
The problem is that there is no fear of God before their eyes. They have lost the fear of God, or they wouldn’t dare to do such a thing! They think they have been delivered to do those things.
We must use our creativity in the service of God to perfect ourselves, our world, and our churches. But do so only in accordance with God’s divine will and the limits he has placed on His divine service! Almighty God thunders, “You shall not learn to follow the abominations (detestable acts) of those pagan nations . . . . You shall be perfect (entirely obedient) with the Lord your God” (Deut.18: 9-14)..
Rabbi Riskin says that we must
serve God in accordance with his law, his commandments, his will and the limits
he has placed on divine service so that we never fall into the trap of bringing
strange fire (Baal worship) before
the Lord. Human hands created fire, human hands are agents of free will and can use that
agent as creativity for good such as cooking food, or for destruction as in
weapons of war. The Jews pray for the speedy return of Elijah the prophet on
the weekly Sabbath day before Passover to herald the soon coming of Messiah. In
our own hands lies the future of the world, whether we properly recreate our

The Canadian government has just
ordered a Christian ministry that teaches doctrine and who differentiates
between Christians and Cults shut down, because their materials were critical
of the beliefs of others who are not Christian.
The governments of this world are not the government of God, but are in the hands of Satan the devil the god of this world. God is allowing him more and more control over the nations of this world. Why is God allowing this? As I see it brethren, God sees that this world needs correction and “waking up!” Christians in this world need a gigantic awakening, a cold dash of reality that will cause them to turn to God in repentance and pray “fiery” prayers in earnest repentance for all their abominable sins. They don’t know the difference between truth and lies, or good and evil anymore.

were shut down and any media criticism of the religion of Islam banned!
According to the Arabic newspaper,
al-Insan al-Jadad, Islam’s “Public Enemy #1, fiery Coptic priest Zakaria Botros
(along with fellow missionaries – mostly Muslim converts) has been making waves
in the Islamic world. He appears frequently on the Arabic channel al-Hayat
(Life TV) addressing controversial topics of theological significance, free
from the censorship imposed by Islamic authorities.
But Botros does not submit, and minces no words. He famously made of Islam “ten-demands,” whose radical nature he uses to highlight Islam’s own radical demands on non-Muslims. Thousands of Muslims are converting to Christianity. More Muslims have accepted Christ over the last 30 years, and specifically over the last 7 to 10 years than any other time in human history. There is a revival of Christianity going on in the Muslim world. God is doing something.

The 7th Day Adventists are extremely diligent to keep abreast and actively oppose enactment of Sunday legislation that would enforce Sunday worship upon humankind.
In an article entitled “Sunday Law by Stealth” by Pastor Hal Mayer, we read of sobering developments that relate to the nearness of a Sunday law soon to be imposed on the Christian-professing world!
Says Hal Mayer, “Back in early November rumors were flying around that a secret meeting was scheduled between the Christian Coalition and the Vatican in Washington, D.C. Rumor had it that there was to be a discussion about the state of the world and the condition of the U.S. and most important of all, the need to protect the Lord’s day (Sunday) as a day of rest. There would be key congressional law makers present and a high level Vatican Cardinal was to address the group. My ministry must circulate only facts and not just conjecture, speculations, or assumptions.”
“Now I am going to tell you the details that I have received from a personal friend who was a credentialed participant in the secret meeting. I am going to tell you what is going on behind the scenes. Look at Revelation 13:15-17 regarding the image of the beast and its power. Notice that the receiving of this mark revolves around worship of the image of the beast. Those who do not go along with this New World Order will be prevented from buying and selling and many will be killed.

growing in power to further her own ends, positioning herself in the world

Mayer goes on, “We have known that the Sunday law movement would come, but have put it off in the distance subconsciously. We want to feel good. We don’t want to be depressed by bad news, so bathe ourselves in positive thinking and ‘feel-good’ spirituality TV pastors and spiritual fornicators. This is only empty and superficial, because it doesn’t wake us out of danger. It puts us to sleep, and makes us spiritually lazy.”
We have all heard the story of the frog put into the lukewarm water but doesn’t notice that water is being heated up slowly until it reaches the boiling point, and by that time the frog is weakened and it is impossible for it to jump out of the boiling water and save itself.

The Seventh-Day Adventist present
was Pastor Allen Fine, speaker and director of A New Sound Inspiration radio
program in West Virginia and has been an SDA pastor for over 40 years and is
now retired. Pastor Fine started attending their meetings back in 1989 to get
an idea of their plans. Pat Robertson, leader of the Christian Coalition at
that time was gleeful he had brought so many churches together into the
Coalition. On
Pastor Fine and his wife Deanna witnessed this, and believe that their intention was to use Christian organizations to get control of state and Federal legislatures and thereby set up the image of the beast.
In 2004 Pastor Fine received a memo
from the new president of the Christian Coalition, Roberta Combs, addressed to

Churches Together and Catholic Campaign for American have developed a
“ten-point agenda” for America that they want to implement at the federal and state levels by law.

But ironically the seventh amendment on their list is a call for a national day of rest. This day would no doubt be Sunday. The seventh amendment says: ‘Throughout all the land a National Day of Rest shall be honored by governments and industrial manufacturers and public shopping facilities’.”

recent organization known as Christian Churches Together (CCT) is also involved
in the secret Sunday law movement and was represented at the secret meeting in
Catholic Campaign for
Declares Pastor Mayer: “As you can see, the Sunday law has been stealthily working its way through the ecumenical organizations and governmental bodies. When church leaders are excited about their unity with other churches, and when a large enough coalition of churches unite together they begin to feel very powerful, especially politically powerful. Then naturally they begin to use that power to accomplish their purposes.”

the National Security Agency (NSA) met Pastor Fine when his plane landed in

surveillance constantly by the NSA until the meetings were over. On November 14th
the day was spent in a conference on global warming. The speakers included Al
Gore, former vice-president. During lunch on November 15, just before the
meeting with the Vatican Cardinal, one of the NSA security agents came and

her people they were not to take any recording devices or cameras into the

The report continues: “With the ‘ten amendments’ in his hand, the Cardinal said there would be more said on this when ‘His Holiness’ (Benedict XVI) would be here in Washington in April to meet with President Bush and also to meet with some of these same Christian leaders at the Senate Office Building on April 17.”
